Your church, in your pocket — included with every plan
SundayHQ's member app is the other half of the platform: one calm inbox for announcements, group and serving-team channels, and direct messages; giving with receipts; kids pre-check-in; and a serving schedule members can confirm with one tap. It's on the App Store today, and it costs your church nothing extra — because a member app shouldn't be a separate product.

Church-wide announcements, a channel for every group and serving team, and direct messages between adults — all in one inbox, with threads that keep conversations findable and reactions for the quick stuff. When a leader needs a real answer, an acknowledgment request lets members confirm with one tap, and the leader sees exactly who has and hasn't. Channels come from the groups and teams you already run in SundayHQ, so there's nothing to set up and no roster to maintain twice.
Messaging is for adult members; anyone under 18 sees no messaging surfaces at all.
Members give to your funds — one time or on a schedule — from the Give tab, using a saved payment method. Tapping Give opens a secure giving page straight from the app; the gift lands in your church's own Helcim account, on the member's record, in the right fund. Giving history and tax receipts live in the app too, so nobody phones the office in February asking for last year's receipt.
Families pre-check-in from home and kids' check-in becomes one scan at the door — labels print with the matched pickup code. Volunteers see their upcoming serving schedule, confirm or decline an assignment in one tap, and set block-out dates in advance, so nobody discovers a schedule surprise at 7 AM on Sunday. Reminders arrive as push notifications, not as one more email to miss.
Browse the group directory, ask to join, and land in the group's channel the moment a leader approves.
See what's coming up and register — free or paid — without leaving the app.
Announcements, messages, and reminders as push — free in every tier, with opt-outs honoured.
Every gift and every official receipt, available to the member without a call to the office.
Members keep their own email, phone, and address current — so your records stay accurate and receipts stay valid.
Messaging is adults-only — members under 18 get no chat surfaces — and every message can be reported or its sender blocked, with a church moderation queue behind it.
It's on the iOS App Store as "SundayHQ". Members sign in with the email address your church has on file, and the app opens on your church. Android members use the web member portal at app.trysundayhq.com for giving, groups, and pre-check-in.
It's one SundayHQ app on the store — that's what makes it free and instantly available — but once a member signs in, your church's name, logo, and accent colour are what they see. There's no separately published, separately priced branded app to maintain.
No. The app and its push notifications are included in every tier, with no per-member, per-message, or per-download fees.
Members under 13 don't get logins at all. Members under 18 can use the app for their serving schedule, groups, events, and giving, but messaging — channels and direct messages alike — is adults-only in both directions. Every message can be reported, reports go to your church's designated reviewers, and members can block one another.
The Give tab shows history, receipts, and recurring schedules. To make a gift, the app opens a secure giving page from your church's own SundayHQ account — the donor picks a fund and amount, uses a saved method, and the money settles to your church's Helcim account. We never hold the funds.
Yes. A member's account can be linked to several churches, and the app operates on whichever one they've made active — giving, pre-check-in, and notifications all follow that choice.
Start in the demo church, then invite yourself as a member and open the app — the inbox, giving, and pre-check-in all work against the same data your staff sees.
